Lease Renewal Case Study

Following service of a Section 26 Notice by Lloyds Bank, requesting a new lease at a lower rent, the Landlord of their property in Fitzalan Parade, Horsham, approached Crickmay and instructed Andrew Hall to act for them in connection with renewing the lease.

After a property inspection and preliminary advice, taking into account the existing lease, negotiations were undertaken to agree new terms with the Tenant.  Settlement was eventually reached to renew at a rent more than 25% higher than the previous rent.  The new tenancy was concluded earlier this year, bringing about a satisfactory conclusion for our Client.
